Marco | Yoga

Marco is originally from Bolivia. He left South America for Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. After living in the Fan Area for many years, he fell in love with the people and all the activities that the city has to offer and made RVA his home. Yoga was at the very bottom of Marco's list of activities to try until he was introduced to HYB by his girlfriend and reluctantly gave a hot power yoga class a try. Realizing the vast possibilities that the practice can offer to the body and the mind, he moved from being a reluctant drop-in client to an avid yoga practitioner, before venturing into teaching.

When he's not on the mat or working for Capital One as a process and project manager, Marco is likely to be found at live music concerts, listening to records, traveling, and photographing anything and all that he finds inspiring, all while sharing the adventure with his girlfriend and 2 kids.
