April | Barre

A native of Virginia, April moved to Richmond City to attend VCU in 2011. April has a Bachelor's of Science in Anthropology and a Master's in Business Administration.

While April began her fitness journey through Barre and yoga over a decade ago, she truly found her passion for teaching Barre after the birth of her son. April is grateful for The Hot Yoga Barre's inclusive but challenging class format and welcoming community. HYB has become a home away from home.

When she's not teaching or joining in on a group fitness class, April enjoys spending time with her partner and two children or curled up with her two cats and a good book.
